Sims 2 problem

I installed Sims 2 on my laptop.

It's all great, it's running smoothly, but theres a tiny huge problem...

If I press *Ctrl+Shif+C* the little white bar doesn't appear!

How can I solve that? Is there any other way to put cheats?

Btw, I'm using Windows Vista and an HP Laptop


I installed Sims 2 on my Computer aswell and it accepts cheats, so the problem must be on the laptop...

Hmm..I hv no problem using sims 2 cheat with my laptop.Maybe one of your keyboard's button is not working?

Have you checked if your screen resolution is OK? There is a slight possibility that the command prompt appears outside visible range of your screen. Also, check if there are any other programs running that might catch the key combo for themselves (any programs using hot keys).

I checked my screen resolution. It's fine, I can see all borders and I can even see a black frame, wich means that's not the problem.

Then I pressed Ctrl + Shift + C and something called Health Check appeared. What must I do to change the hot keys?

It's dependable on the program, you'll have to figure out the details on the hotkey yourself, as I'm not aware of the software you use on your system, as well as I don't know how you configured it.

If you have Vista, you have to press ctrl+shift+windows button+c

I had that problem too, but I googled it

Google is all knowing O_O

Maybe you should just uninstall then re-install ><
