I Honestly think konohamaru will Inherit Hiruzen's king enma staff.. Might just be wishful thinking but hear me out, maybe konohamaru makes his entrance in the war and sees his Grandfather and they have a talk and blah blah blah.. And being since asuma (his son) is dead he will entrust king enma to his grandson to help out in this war and everyone will see that even konohamaru is a possible candidate to be hokage.. Bare with me I was just thinking about this and decided to write about it haaaaaannnnn!! lol

I think Konohamaru will indeed kinda sorta follow in Hiruzen's foot steps or Naruto's or try at least.

He did learn Rasengan and Sexy jutsu under Naruto's teachings pretty nicely.

Naruto said Konohamaru was a faster learner than he is.

Its kinda expected that Konohamaru will almost be like those two. Especially his name..or um... family.. =D

Konohamaru have a ton of chakra like naruto does and if he learn strong jutsu during the war, he will be force to be reckon with. Since his ninjutsu and taijutsu is pretty good. Already better at fire than naruto at wind release.
