If this thread and theory has been made, then im sorry. If you are going to comment, please only say something productive to the thread. Dont just say"your wrong". Explain what you think.
Anyways here goes.
As we all know, Naruto has had kurama extracted, and will be dying, unless he is healed somehow.
We also know obito is dying as well. He is being kept alive by black zetsu currently.
We also havent met the sage yet. We know his back story, but not much about his life and his sons.
Naruto wants to end the cycle of hatred.
We know tommorow(in the manga) is narutos birthday.
Many people theorize that when naruto gets the chakra of all 9 bijuu, the sage will appear just like minato and kushina did.
My theory is as follows
0. Naruto will still fight for a little while. But ultimately he wont succeed.
1. Naruto will die. His death may inspire the shinobi to somehow defeat madara(his death would at least embolden and enrage the alliance, to fight to their max.)
2. Naruto while dead, will meet the sage. There they will talk, and Naruto will gain some more knowledge. We will learn more of the sages sons, and the sage himself. Perhaps the sage will tell something to naruto that will help him defeat madara. Maybe somehow naruto will get a powerup from the sage/awaken a power.
3. Obito will manage to do a final act of good, and will end his life and revive naruto.
4. Naruto will be revived, and will defeat madara with the new knowledge/power he learned.(him coming back would further the savior role kishi has naruto becoming)(and what better birthday present to get than to be revived, and to save the world.)
5. Useing the knowledge he gained naruto will find a solution to the cycle of hatred. He will become hokage or more.
Either while naruto is dead or after he is revived, madara will wind up explaining the unexplained stuff(such as him being behind uzumaki extermination etc)
