Simple reason why Slug Sage Mode doesn't exist (truth itt)

Now that is something I could absolutely agree with.

That doesn't prove anything in regards to slug sage mode other than an attempt to disprove peoples theories about hashi's being it. Not to mention most Tsunade/Sakura fans I know do not support the hashi's sm being SSM thing.


Kishi said in the manga that shikkotsu forest is equally as famous as the other two legendary places. Reason is pretty obvious, have had 3 mentiones of the place since that moment. I am pretty sure that we are going to see something. Why can't people just live with that, it will be more disappointing in the end if you do this and it happens. If i think it exists and it doesn't happen then shame on kishi for foreshadowing it being legendary and famous as the two other places who offer sage mode.

Edit: The healing in other sage modes is wayy less effective compared to what hashi has shown and Tsunade has healing on that level. The other sage modes don't offer that much, so no katsuya isn't in all sage modes.

You do realize there is no Dragon Sage Mode right? When Kabuto called himself a "Dragon", he was referring to a Japanese proverb that said when snakes reach their strongest after shedding their skin countless times, they are referred to as dragons. Kabuto was basically saying Snake Sage Mode has made him the strongest.

I doubt it will be "slug sage mode" - however, I would have to say that it stands to reason that the major summons (such as Katsuyu) all have knowledge of 'Sage' techniques and processes.

It would not be surprising to learn that Tsunade had become a Sage... but it would be kind of ridiculous. Sakura having achieved a 'Sage Mode' would also be quite ridiculous (unless we count the Yin seal).

It is also quite possible that Orochimaru has not obtained "Dragon Sage Mode" (which I do believe Kabuto stated). I am sure Orochimaru has his reasons for not learning such a mode (perhaps it came at a cost he was not willing to pay the Snakes - or perhaps his nature is to harness natural energy by his own experiments and conquests - such as the Cursed Seal).

But - if you all are reading the same series I am - you recognize the difficulty in making predictions regarding the lore and characters.

Exactly, they always want to rule things out before hand. When the manga is ongoing, I wouldn't care if we didn't have anything to go on for supporting the slug sage mode or the like. There is however things that would cause people to believe and people should just accept the possibility and live on. Nothing is wrong with posting a series of thoughts about why something may not be or the incongruities with popularly held opinions.

I just think it's funny how people cling to 'facts' within the manga when it was a 'fact' that Naruto couldn't create large numbers of Shadow Clones while using the Kyuubi Cloak. Hardly three chapters later: "Yaaaay! Shadow Clone Bonanza!"

I actually consider it amateur on Kishimoto's part to try and act like he's going to instate a limit on stupidly powerful characters... then nullify that very mechanic (I suppose because he is afraid of giving living characters other than Naruto and Sasuke panel time?).

I'm actually curious if he called it a "Snake Sage Mode" or a "Dragon Sage Mode," now.

Obviously, he learned the Sage Mode from the snakes. Then he enters sage mode and says that he has ascended from a snake to a Dragon... but I don't believe he actually called it anything other than "Sage Mode" (or rather, claimed that he was a Sage).

Naruto doesn't really call it "Toad Sage Mode" now. Jiraiya was called the "Toad Sage" - but that's about as far as it went, I think.

it would make no sense for Shikoku forest to be as famous as the other two and not get a sage mode and for their to be some kind of 4th sage mode to be introduced right now
