Ninja like C, Ao, and Karin use chakra sensing to locate enemies right? They can detect an enemy's chakra which gives their location away.

Isn't Silent Killing similar to this? Unlike detecting the enemy's chakra, Silent Killing (being as advanced in Zabuza's case) can detect the enemy's sound they make which gives their location away. It was said that a movement of the eye can give away an enemy's location.

That being said, technically Zabuza can be referred to as a sensor. For example, remember when Killer B tried to escape from Sasuke and the rest of Taka and was hiding behind that mountain? Sasuke, Suigetsu, and Jugo didn't know where he was, however, Karin using her chakra sensing was able to detect him. Zabuza, being the most skilled at Silent Killing in history, would be able to detect Killer B with the sound he made "he was rapping out loud" and locate him for he wouldn't escape.

In closure, Zabuza is actually a Shinobi that can in a way sense too; he can act as a "sensor".
BTW most sensors aren't very skilled at all in the Ninjutsu and Taijutsu category. Zabuza, however, is really good in Ninjutsu (having a 4.5/5 in the data book) and outstanding in Tai/Kenjutsu. Plus, his Hidden Mist Jutsu protects him from Ocular Genjutsu and really all Genjutsu in general besides Sound Genjutsu (which is rare).

Thoughts?

I'm not saying Zabuza is a "sensor" who can detect chakra, I'm basically saying the outcome is the same because both techniques detect the enemy.

No. A sensor is someone who can sense chakra. Zabuza can't do that, he can simply hear good.

Wtf? Do you not know what "similar" means? They both detect where the enemy is, so they're similar.

Read carefully

I did read. You said similar in the title, but in the actual thread you said he can be considered a sensor. I'm saying he can't.

I said "technically" so I was saying he in a way can be because both have the same outcome in most cases

He is not a sensor and shouldn't be "technically" considered anything he isn't. Also I believe Zabuza's good hearing isn't a part of that jutsu. He just has it. When using silent killing, he makes himself invisible within the mist, moves about silently, and uses his hearing to find his opponent. That being said it is likely he could not find bee, because bee was very far away, and the sound would become too quiet even for Zabuza's good hearing. He is not, in any way, a sensor.

You are just assuming the sound would be too quite. It was stated in the manga that a movement of the eye could give the enemy's location away to Zabuza. Do you think a movement of the eye is louder than a black guy rapping out loud from a distance? That's just ignorant. So he is, in a way, a sensor.

Does anyone really care about any characters anymore besides the top 10 ninja?
