Itachi's power that was passed down to Naruto

This is still unknown but I'm definitely sure this power is for Sasuke since he (Itachi) believe it is Naruto who can save his beloved brother.

See Sasuke's reaction when he saw Naruto approched him? Deep inside of him, he's not yet overwhelmed by the darkness. He just need someone to convince him with matching fist on his face.

Naruto defeated his dark side and helped him with his fight with the 9 tails

As Madara said, "light and dark, Senju and Uchiha, Naruto and Sasuke". He can use the same process with Sasuke.

I don't think Kishi would have allowed Sasuke to be fully consumed by darkness anyway. I'm sure in one of the first manga books, there was a sort of bonus page where he stated that Sasuke is his favourite xD

Definitely agree - Sasuke will see the light, but in the end he will only redeem himself by a heroic gesture that costs him his life.

I'd bet anyone 50 Ramens Sasuke is dead at the end of this series.

nice thread dude and i been thinking the same exact same thing but ppl don't understand they think sasuke we remain confused throu the whole entire manga when sasuke still has his friend naruto and sakura to count on but at the same time sasuke doesn't realise that

What I mean is, Naruto can do the same process on what he did to the dark Naruto. If Naruto's opposite is his dark side and He (Naruto) and Sasuke where opposite just like what Madara said then he can just re-do it.

I belive that sasuke will see the light but will die a heroic death and be remembered forever in konoho. It is the perfect setup. After criticizing the leaf village for using others as sacrifices for themselves (ITACHI!!!) Sasuke decides to give his life up for the village he truly loves
