Is my signature too big? Is it an acceptable size on this forum?

Yes, it is. 1024x768px is the current size of your signature. The maximum allowed size for regular members is 600x300. To get it resized, you can post a request in the GFX Requests section, or use graphics editing software or online editing websites such as imgur to re-size the picture.
