The 2nd Mizukage walks in the battlefield prepared and knowing full well that his opponent was a dangerous one, the 1st Hokage. This was a fierce battle of the Kages, two high-ranked shinobi fighting for their life. He looked at the only shinobi who bears the Konoha headband in his forehead. It was only the Mizukage and the Hokage, no one else to interfere and aid either sides. "So, you are the legendary Hokage, the one who was told to create the forest surrounding the Konoha borders. Impressive feats, i must say. Though I want to see for sure, that you have such power." A weak breeze blew throughout the battlefield, swaying the Mizukage's shinobi attire and the short bunches of leaves around the battlefield. "Well, i guess we should begin."

The Mizukage preforms the ram handseal while gathering a good amount of earth chakra. He sends the chakra in the ground and causes the ground to cave in, creating a whole that sucks everything in that surrounds it. He creates the whole (epicenter) of the technique a meter away from where the Hokage stood, where he would slide in and get sucked inside the whole to be suffocated.

Description: The user performs the Ram hand seal and causes causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.

Immediately after, the Mizukage flashed a single handseal once again and sends his earth chakra into the air above Hashirama. He uses that chakra to summon a boar-shaped lid of earth in the air, a few meters above Hashirama. The lid starts from where the antilion starts and ends in long range, about 10 meters from each side. (The center of the lid would be somewhere between mid and long range, so it would cover mid-long range.) The lid was created to be solid, so when it falls on top of the antilion, it would act as a lid so Hashirama would not escape and cause some damage after hitting Hashirama's head, though it won't completely squish him because of how the hole lowers the ground Hashirama is in.

Hashirama saw a man with no eyebrows entering the battlefield. He never saw the person before, but heard a lot about him. "So you must be the.. 2nd mizukage, right? I knew your predecessor. And yes, I'm the Shodaime of Konoha, it is me who created the forest, but this skill shall not be shown, well at least not today." Hashirama takes a good look at the mizukage. "Why don't you have eyebrows?! Did they slip down, above your mouth?! But this was no time for joking around, so Hashirama took a serious look.

The ground started to shake and spiral inwards next to Hashirama, he immediately used his water speciality, performed the ram handseal and spat a large amount of water. Hashirama was lifted up by the force of the water waves. The created waves were sending Hashirama forward towards the mizukage. The water was reaching all the way to the mizukage. The antlion pit started to suck the water of the colliding wave and was flooding. It acted as a a whirlpool with water leaking out of it, flooding the entire battlefield. Because of the waves, Hashi was sent forwards a few meters, so he was something in between short and mid range from the mizukage. Because the edge of the lid would fall on Hashirama, It wouldn't hit him right now, because he was sent a few meters forward. The solid lid fell and it covered the antlion. Hashirama noticed the lid falling, because of the shadow, and he looked quickly above, he knew it wouldn't hit him, but used its advantage. As soon as the lid was about the hit the water, Hashirama jumped very high into the air. The lid was solid rock, and when it fell on the water, it created huge waves that were damaging the mizukage. The lid covered the antlion, and was for a part in the water, with the upper half above the water.

When Hashirama was in the air, he blew a small stream of wind forwards, so he would be sent backwards, and he landed on the upper half of the lid. Now Hashirama was standing high, on a dry surface looking down at the mizukage on the water, being crushed by the massive waves, being mid range from him. Hashirama emitted a lightning spear out of his hand, after performing a handseal. The lightning spear was sent towards the mizukage who was being 'attacked' by the waves. It wouldn't mind if the lightning spear missed, because in that case it would electrocute the water next to the mizukage, and that would conduct the lightning and affect the mizukage.

Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake hand seal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

"You.. you will pay for this! I don't care what your rank is, everyone is inferior to the Mizukage... Especially people who look down on my facial hair!" Soon after, the wave created by the force of the lid crashing into the water source came towards the Mizukage at high speeds, gaining height and water the faster it traveled. Silly tricks like this won't get me... Hmph. the Mizukage channels water chakra under the water he stood at and at the soles of his feet. He uses that chakra to shape the water into a pillar and have it thrust him up in the air, while using the chakra in his feet to push himself up even higher in the air.

As he is mid-air, he sees a technique that is shaped like a spear and is the color blue. The Mizukage easily concluded that it was lightning, or at least he thought it was lightning by its looks. He gathers wind chakra in his right fingertip and releases that wind chakra. He materializes the chakra into actual winds and shape it into a near invincible wind that had a high cutting potential. The wind technique collides with the lightning technique. Both of which disappear due to elemental advantage.

Description: This technique is a pinpoint slashing strike, where the user emits chakra from their fingertips and materialises it into an near invisible weapon that assaults the enemy in a gust of wind. If the Sickle Weasel Technique can be regarded as a swarm of small wind kunai, then this technique is akin to a virtually unavoidable longsword which can leave the target's body mutilated. Just being in close proximity to the technique can cause minor cuts. The wind blades can be created and thrown, like projectiles, in rapid succession, although in this case, each one weaker than the single use application. The technique cannot be blocked by physical weapons and is insanely fast by not relying on the use of Hand seals but, because it still requires the user to perform hand gestures to use and is somewhat visible in the effect it produces, it can still be defended against by using appropriate evasion techniques or fast elemental ninjutsu.

The Mizukage lands shortly after releasing the wind blade. He gathers lightning chakra, a large amount of it while he is freefalling from mid-air. After landing, he holds up both of his hands and release the large amount of lightning while turning it into the actual element of lightning, creating an insanely strong chidori in his hands which is released to cause devastating damage. The lightning technique covers a wide range. It easily destroys the lid and also attacks the Hokage as well. As he is attacked and falls in the water, he is electrocuted by the water from the chidori technique that reached the water as well.

After Hashirama emitted the lightning spear, he saw that the mizukage countered the lightning spear with a wind blade. Hashi wanted to prevent the mizukage from performing any action after that, so right after the mizukage performed the wind blade technique, and when he was about to create the chidori, Hashirama created a water vortex around the mizukage and with a swing of his arm he caused the mizukage to be sent high into the air, higher than Hashi's height, because Hashi was still standing on the lid. This prevented the mizukage from performing the chidori raimei. Hashi ofcourse didn't know that the mizukage was about to create a chidori, but he just wanted to prevent him from performing any actions.

When the mizukage was high in the air because of the water vortex, Hashi dispelled the vortex with a simple hand gesture. But as soon as the water vortex was dispelled and the mizukage was in the air, without hesitating, Hashirama gathered his katon chakra in his lungs, manipulated it and expelled a large fireball, compacted with chakra, towards the mizukage. The fireball bursted into a maelstorm of fire, engulfing him in flames, in the air. The burned mizukage would be falling down, on the water again. After the fire technique, Hashirama performed 1 handseal and created a large earth dragon out of the lid, and Hashirama sent the dragon towards the falling mizukage, and attacked him. The dragon attacked him with his head, and drove him down, causing him to crash into the water. The dragon also crashed into the water with its head and caused large waves to be created. The water was raging again and damaging the mizukage even more.

Knowing that this technique would come quickly and that the technique would be close to him once it is formed, he channels earth chakra throughout his entire body. He uses nature transformation to change the nature of his chakra into the properties of earth and eventually created stones and earth. The stones cover his entire body. It defends him from the vortex created by Hashirama and after the vortex subsided, the earth armor fell apart from the damage it took, leaving the Mizukage unharmed inside.

Afterwards, he sees Hashirama start to exhale a small and dense fireball, which was released towards the Mizukage. I guess i'll be fighting fire with fire, hmph. The Mizukage knew that it would take a larger fire technique and an even more dense flame to overpower that one and without hesitation, he quickly takes out a scroll and performs a summoning. He summons a large flame dragon which flies out at high speeds towards the ball of flames. The size and density of the flame dragon the Mizukage summoned was much greater then that of Hashirama's. It easily overpowered Hashirama's technique after colliding with one another and continued on towards Hashirama at a weaker state.

Description: The user through use of one their scrolls will summon a large flame dragon that is directed towards the enemy target and explodes upon impact.

After the fire dragon was released, the Mizukage simply lets go of the scroll now that it was not needed. He sends a large amount of wind chakra in the sky while creating a spinning motion on the clouds above Hashirama. The spinning motion generates a large and powerful tornado, equivalent to a power and size of an F5 tornado. The dragon exploded upon impact with Hashirama and the ground he was on, leaving behind trails of flames. A few seconds after it makes contact with Hashirama, the tornado touched down enhancing the flames lying around and slashed Hashirama repeatedly with the sharp winds of the tornado, and also in the process, destroying the lid he stood on.

When the mizukage created the fire dragon to cancel out Hashi's fireball, Hashirama's changed his plans. The fire dragon continued towards Hashirama with the power of an A rank jutsu, because it was weakened by Hashi's fireball. He used his water speciality again, and he quickly exhaled a large amount of water, in the form of a poweful torrent. The water didn't make any contact with his mouth, because the water torrent itself started approx. 10/20 cm in front of him (as seen in the manga). The water torrent was strong enough to cancel out the fire dragon with ease, and continued towards the mizukage in a weaker state. Too be exact, the water torrent continued with the power of a 'by a B rank weakened S rank jutsu' (see

The water torrent would've dealt a lot of damage to the mizukage, and it'd prevent him from performing the tornado. This also caused the terrain to flood even more. After that, Hashirama created an earth pillar, which erupted beneath his feet, and sent him towards the mizukage. Right after being pushed by the earth pillar, hashirama conentrated on his chakra while he's sent flying towards the mizukage, and he created a chidori in his hand. If the mizukage survived the water torrent, he might have been thinking that Hashirama was about to pierce him with the chidori, because Hashirama was sent towards the mizukage, with a chidori in his hand, that would be a perfect opportunity to pierce the mizukage with it if he approaches him. But in stead, when Hashi was approximately 2 - 3 meters away from the mizukage, he released the chidori out of his hand, creating a massive blast, spread outwards and forwards from his hand, also reaching the water in front of the mizukage. This was rather unexpected. The blast reached up all the way up to mid range, and because it also reached the water in front of the mizukage, it'd electrocute him, even though he's protecting his front side. Hashirama landed on the water, 1 meter in front of the mizukage's (previous) position.

Upon seeing the water technique released from Hashirama's mouth and continued to be expelled, the Mizukage saw that the torrent of water traveled at fast speeds, and it was very dense so being hit by it will most likely end up with him taking in a lot of damage. Interesting technique, it would be a shame if it was disrupted... The Mizukage thought as a grin formed in his mouth. Instead of going with his wind technique that would have caused more damage, he channeled earth chakra and released it in the ground beneath you (The dropping lid made two turns previously. By the way, im assuming the lid is still there since the dragon supposedly does not take the earth for the technique.) He performs shape manipulation and shapes the earth beneath Hashirama and condenses it, shaping four extremely sharp and fatal calendar-like sticks. He used even more chakra to push the spikes upwards, angling it towards Hashirama's lower body (legs to be precise) and piercing through it, causing great damage.

Note: This technique is performed after the water extinguishes the fire, and because the water is released as a continuous torrent of water, choosing to continue with that technique will lead you to be pierced by the spikes.

This would also cause the spikes to be pierced deeper into his leg and eventually, being washed away with the large sphere-like bullet and pushed back a few meters.

A very, very close call. The both of you did a great job, no doubt about it. However, I think that Khalil took the upper hand and explained slightly better what he did, and the way how he did it. This doesn't mean that Khalil has won, because of the fact that the both of you where near equal, I'll ask another sensei or two to judge along with me. Be patient, the both of you, but you will know it before Friday. (Since the next round will start then, so we'll have to wait nevertheless.) ^_^

Nice fight, better than the fights I judged in the sempai tourney that's going on. I say Khalil takes this because I feel he controlled most of the fight. Both of yall had some timing issues but both are clearly skilled enough to be sempais. Although just by going off this fight, Khalil gets my vote.

So I was asked to judge this fight, like, 3 days ago. You are all very welcome. U_U But moving on (I'll do my best to not make this too long, meaning I won't go into depth on every move).

There were some issues on both sides, in my opinion, but nothing too major. Questionable moves based on speed and timeframe, common misuse of a technique, these sorts of thing; stuff that happens all the time.

All in all, from what I can see it would appear as though Khallil was controlling the fight for a bit. What really did it for me was the ignoring of techniques; both Earth and Stone Dragon, as well as Water Bullet are either underestimated in speed, or ignored completely. It would appear as though Khallil has won this fight, though only Shuusai can say with full certainty.
