Shunsui's Opponent

I would like to know who people think Shunsui's main opponent should be now that he is CC. Is he going to fight someone important to prove that he should be CC through strength, or will he prove it by letting Zaraki defeat the stronger opponents, proving that he can plan ahead, and should be in the position of giving orders? Maybe a little of both?

I thiink he doesnt need to prove someone anything...He is direct student of Yamamoto and he has been Captain for soooo long..He has enough experience for this job

What the hell are you talking about?

Kyoraku doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. He's already fully qualified to be the new Captain Commander. He was one of the first students of Yamamoto and one of the first to become a Captain through his Academy. He's wise, possesses leadership qualities (clearly shown when he was able to raise the Gotei's spirits up after Yama's passing), and has been around long enough to know intimate details of the Gotei's history. He's clearly strong enough to hold the position and he's not afraid to get down to business as shown when he basically shut the Central 46 up.

Just because you qualify for something doesn't mean that you will be good at it. Many people are accepted into a postion based on previous acomplishments and abilities, and then completely fail in their new position. I am not saying he doesn't deserve to be CC, but he hasn't proven that he has what it takes to protect SS, even though I personally believe that he will. I am just asking what they think his greatest show of strength as CC will be, and if it is defeating someone, who will that person be?

What if his bankai ends up being some kind of board game that invovles everyone that sees it, and he is the only one that knows the rules.

He can use the knowledge of the rules, that no ones else that he doesn't tell knows, to his advantage.
