Thought I would share this compelling theory on what Shunsuis Bankai could be...
Shunsui's Katen Kyokotsu(flower heaven crazy bone):
Katen kyokotsu：花天狂骨 is one of the japanese legendary oni(ghost),similar to 狂天花骨---one of the great 3 japanese legendary demon sword, the other two is furinkazan(风林火山) and muramasa(村正).

狂天花骨's theme is skeleton,has an inner spirit of flower god and she wears pink-similar to shunsui wearing pink kimono+pink haori)
The name: kyokotsu(狂骨) which is the crazy bone.. is one of the hundred demons in japan, (hyakki yako)百鬼夜行,
kyokotsu also describe as 骨女(skeleton woman) which explains why katen kyokotsu's spirit is a woman and the reason shunsui loves to chase after womens ..
kyokotsu is the ghost of a corpse discarded in a well... hence its the demon of well/ghost in the well (井妖/井鬼)..according to the japanese story, ..she often appears at night, and the passerby have to drink the water came from the well.. if you drink, she'll dissapear but If u don't , she will dance infront of you and you'll turn beserk thus commited suicide in water well.. Just like shunsui, drink sake! And if you don't drink with him (eg: chado)..you're soo dead...*jk* XD
Also I find it interesting about kubo's quote to shunsui: If it's me, it would be a waste not to dance no matter what. ~
It does fits "kyokotsu" well^^ I've got to say, great job kubo on fitting shunsui with katen kyokotsu.
