[Discussion] Shunsui's Bankai theory.

This is my theory on Shunsui's bankai.

Stage 1: Any attack dealt on each other is reflected back. So no more attacking each other.

Stage 2: An incurable disease. In my opinion, I bet it eats reitsu making the third stage a boomer.

Stage 3: Your surrounded by water every where, first one to run out of reitsu dies.

So basically the story is in Shunsui's favor due to the disease eating away at lillies reitsu so he'll die from stage 3.

agreed, i think, but i think he might have some retardedly big reitsu capacity, maybe it was only unlocked threw bankai maybe hes always had it..but that might just my way of avoiding his death lol

I still believe Yamamoto had the strongest bankai, except for maybe zarakis.

Maybe the strongest bankais if each type has an effect in the environment.

Yamamotos-strongest fire, chapped lips and dry throats very far distances away.
Hitsugaya- strongest ice, air freezes around you everywhere.
Shunsuis-darkens everywhere, maybe a dark type?



But zarakis I feel will be the strongest lightning type, feeling shock and extreme light miles away or some shit.

My biggest question about Act 1 is whether or not it also allows Shunsui to be immortal/invulnerable against enemy attacks. He was unscathed when he was hit by Lille's X-axis spam and stated that you cannot die from said wounds.

Act 2 seems to be limited to just physical damage.

There are more acts to come, one deadlier than the other.

Agree with all except for kenpachis. Yammanotos vice captain already had a powerful lighting bankai. That's how yammammoto got his scare. It'd be lame to repeat that bankai

It looks more like he tells a story and turns that to reality, like the games from his Shikai. Presumably these are not all it's powers, he can always tell a different story.

I'm guessing that he has to alter the story whenever a new person shows up, which is why he can't use it with others around. New Ability dictates Guaranteed win to Shunsui, but there has to be more to the fight than this. Maybe Nanao is going to get drawn into it.

I personally think it works like this

Stage 1: any damage inflicted is done to the other person, preventing attacking

Stage 2: a sickness that eats away at your body, unless you are attacking, making stage 1 even more potent

Stage 3: transforming the battleground into the deep sea which can only be fought inside of by constantly emitting reiatsu, this also places the target into a wide, open space, they can't run

IMO lille will figure out the only weakness, self damage and injure himself, only to heal, then as he goes on a rant about beating the new head captain, shunsui will stab himself in the heart and kill lille, but since lille dies, there's only one player left in the game so, the stab affects him as well, ending the battle with a "double suicide"

Exactly hahaa.. he has no idea the world of trouble he is in for making shunsui pull out his bankai.. like shit if him jus stating no one can be miles around when he uses it... then you should be worried.. especially if he is captain level just using his shikai hahah. Make me think that he was stronger then almost every other captain besides zaraki and mayuri

Still gets wrekt by Almighty Yhwach and almighty Haschwalth :bdpf:, but the bankai is pretty hax I suppose but then again not really depending on who he is versing for example, shunsui's bankai abilities would be absolutely null on Grimmy, Yhwach,pernida (he can just regenerate from basically anything or cut his limbs off and regenerate...or just nerve shock him and pernida doesn't breathe to begin with), Aizen, etc etc. but lillie will probably find a way to combat this or he'll pray to Yhwach to save him.

He has to get negged by yhwach before he can die.
we know hes gonna pull the "noble head captain" card, and "fulfill his duty in exterminating the threat to soul society"
Hes gonna beat lillie, maybe off panel, then were gonna see him sneakt up on yhwach and theyre gonna battle briefly before evryone gets there.
