When you look at everything that is there, it really feels like that's the direction Kubo is going. There's too many things that line up from the meaning of the names, to his backstory, to the sudden appearances of hands and a woman.

I've gone 2/2 with my theories so far. The Bankai being so dangerous that he'd have to be VERY far away and the Kimono having some tie in to his bankai, which was kinda confirmed when the woman popped out of his kimono/over his shoulder. I need a closer look, but even the Kimono looks like the pattern changed, just like it did after Lisa was presumed dead.

Thats what I thought it was as well. At first taken to mean that she has a certain "cute" look that shunsui seems to like that is also in common with lisa. But i guess it might also mean his daughter/lover and is actually less perverted and more about being close to someone who resembles his loved one(s)

I could possibly see that, but Tousen would have been the one to fight him and not Stark.
