I've seen a lot of people saying stuff like "Madara has Amaterasu because he has Susano'o and you need Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi to have Susano'o."

First off, it says in the manga "You need two Mangekyou to get Susano'o."

Nowhere in the manga does it say you need Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi to get It, just two MS. If you can present proof in the manga that says otherwise, please do.

Also, please don't tell me about the databook, the manga is the only source that's 100% reliable and acceptable. Unless Kishi writes the databook himself of course

By the way, if Madara had Amaterasu, why would he spam those Tomoe discs and fire? Why wouldn't he, someone who thrives off of chaos, suffering and agony, not use Amaterasu, even on a few ninja, especially since he has EMS and doesn't have to worry about vision loss

That is true, most people assume he needs Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi for Susano,but I say those are unique to Itachi and Sasuke, at least amaterasu is.

You're right! But I reckon MS grants some unique powers to the users such as Susano etc.. I don't have a proof right now but I read it somewhere! If not amaterasu may be we get to see something new from madara

Susanoo is the third ability granted by the Mangekyo Sharingan after awakening the MS in both eyes.

So, as the OP said having Susanoo doesn't mean having Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi as the first two powers. It could be a different set of MS powers.

As of now we have seen only Itachi and Sasuke both of whom have the same MS powers. But his does not prove that Madara must have the same two MS powers (Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi).

Edit: if data book says Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi are required then it should be that way.
