yea but some of them got to get really close. Some of the regulars could just throw a weapon or shoot a justu at them. Also in group situations you have Yamanaka when they mind transfer their body goes limp instead of switching back and forth.

A limp body on the battle field = death if this was group fight.

They would have to start learning barrier and seals to protect their original bodies then they can spam the jutsu all day.

until now i still don't understand how obito got out of mind control,it always seemed like some sort of PNJ to me,not even one explanation why,he just got out.and i doubt obito has more power than gingaku who had a really strong chakra(kurama's) who actually was caught for more than that.

If you think about, Mind Body Disturbance jutsu is pretty OP. That's why it wasonly brought up once in Part I and then forgotten.

It's like Mind Transfer but the user doesn't pass out, and just controls the opponent's body, Inoichi did it against a Sand ninja during the invasion on Konoha.
