Are you serious?? Dragon Ball isn't the first story or the first manga. There are plenty of myths out there and stories with similar traits and descriptions that Kishi already draws from.

It would make a great movie, if done right. You idiots keep comparing possible success to utter failures. Comics are the american version of manga. Are you telling me just because the first movie was crap, that means another adaptation would be as well? Your Imagination is obviously limited, the first couple of Batmans was horrible, and then came Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale. Same go's for superman, there would be somethings they would have to rationalize but for the most part, it's perfectly possible.
