just taking a couple of characters that people seem to "fanboy" over and showing why they deserve it or not. method is marks out of 5, five being the most worthy, 1 being the least its my first thread so take it easy
itachi- Worth it: he was recognized as a prodigy among his family from a young age. became leader of anbu as teen. Tobi even said that itachi might have killed him if he knew everything about him. and remember the whole series up until the war arc he was half blind and sick and still managed to fight on a kage level. 5/5
minato- Worth it: made a technique simply off of studying the tailed beast bomb. was the fastest ninja ever as far as we know. during the 3rd great ninja war people were ordered to run if they saw him, and he pretty much ended the war himself. the only negatives is that we dont see enough of him to reallymerit any of these "minato vs "(blank)" threads. 4/5
sasuke- Not worth it: Its only because im trying to keep this from getting to long why im not gonna into everything i could think of. the whole "im pissed off so now im gonna get hella stronger" is simply a way to keep the kid alive against guys who would easily kill him. and hes had to had his ass bailed out almost more than anyone else in the manga. 1/5
kakashi- Worth it: I think the problem with people underestimating him is that hes probably one of the few characters that hasnt changed much from the start of the series. At the start he was a badass, but since the introduction of kage level ninja(and with the war arc theres tons of the them) people seem to think hes gotten weak when in fact its just hard for him to keep up with all these new people. he still manages though so... 3.5/5
