Opinion is split as to the wisdom of the American foreing policy.
Some argue that further actions taken by NATO and the EU could not come in the worse time, while others are keen to the non intervention of western powers in the Ukraine-Russia platform.
What do you think?

No, had a discussion about if they should have done something with the Jews in WW2

We have our own problems to attend to. For all we know there could be a global army in the making forming against us as we speak.
We are feared more than anyone.

You'd be dumb not to think this isn't a possibility. I'm not batman or sum shi...but I'm ready.

Also, remember there are two sides to every story. I have heard that, before the civil war started, there was a lot of anti-Russian sentiment in Ukraine, including the President. I know a Russian who is here on a cultural exchange program and she said that there were several Russians who have been burned to death by Ukrainians. So as I said there are two sides to every story. Each country will spin the news in a way that benefits them, be careful not to get caught in the propaganda.

we as Americans need to fix our problems internally, when we try to "fix" the world we only cause more problems ahead ex. ISIL.

No we need to become a neutral country again instead of invading countries for natural resources.

I think the US government should keep their noses out of everyone else's business, the only reason they get involved is to display their influence and power.

There is a woman who works in the nephrology lab the university rents in our clinic from Ukraine.

She's hopeful we stay out of all of it.

And I agree.

That doesn't mean I condone Russia. Putin has clearly instigated heavily in that crisis - but it is not without motivation, either. The shale gas in Crimea is incredibly valuable and necessary to help reinforce the value of the BRIC as well as place pressure on Europe.

Ukraine has long had territorial disputes with Russia and made matters worse by taking out aggression on people of Russian heritage (even when they are Pro-Ukraine... which they soon begin to cease being).

This is what happens when you give government and those who influence it to control the lives of citizens. People kill each other over the right to control their own lives out of fear of what the others will do (reinforced by previous instances of over-taxation and racially motivated policies).

The U.S. will figure this out soon enough in our upcoming civil war.

Well - we won't. What will end up happening is the U.S. fragmenting into several different 'national' governments - most of which will be oligarchies run by political ideologies. We'll become Europe except the borders and boundaries will still be hazy - so we'll slaughter a hundred million or more of each other.

It'll be fun.

So, no - we should stay out of it and reconnect with the roots of our nation before it's far too late for us to reclaim our identity.

Then, maybe, we will know what to say or what to do to help guide the rest of the world to the same prosperity. Until then - we'll only muck it up.
