Should the Cloud, Stone and Mist villages have been introduced earlier?

Do you think that the villages should have been mentioned earlier on in the story? We know quite a lot about the Sand as they are the Leaf's allies, but we haven't really been shown anything about the Mist and Stone villages and the introduction of the Stone seemed a bit sudden. Do you think they should have been introduced earlier, so we could see more details about them?

i kinda do i agree in away as kishi has somewhat rushed naruto as he manly concentrated on moving the plot forward and he could have benefited by adding some side storys to elaborate on other characters so i see it as a good and bad thing the good is that the plot moves at a good pace but many characters suffer as they dont take much part in the main plot so it depends on how you look at it

Well, Mist was introduced within the first 5-10 episodes (for manga) and fairly soon for manga as well, since they fought Zabuza. Sand was introduced in the Chuunin Arc. Cloud was introduced while Naruto was fighting Neji in the Chunin exams, and, well stone was never introduced until much later, I think.

The hidden mist was introduced to us readers via zabuza at the beginning of part1.....
Meanwhile, we heard of kumo when naruto fought neji again part 1.
The entire kakshi chronicles revolved around a fight against iwagakure shinobi, and its been 400 + chapters now.
How much earlier do you want?

Yes, they ALL play part in Narutoverse history.

They were sort of introduced but not into detail like they were in Shippuden or near the war. I feel as though Kishimoto just crammed them in too much before the war.
