Should Sasuke be executed? Yay or Nay?

My point was that people accept and love Gaara now, despite hating and fearing him as a monster before.

Nagato leveled the village, and killed several people throughout his life. Naruto hated him with a passion, but he bothered to understand him and his situation instead of acting out of spite. And they're like brothers now..

So..Why can't the same thing/something similar happen to Sasuke later on?

People with tragic lives end up doing bad things and they change for the better later on..That's just how this manga works :/

If sasuke had stopped after killing itachi he probably wouldve been forgiven, but sasuke is so blinded by hatred and vegeance that he really doesnt care. Sasuke is too far gone to be saved. However knowing kishi, he will do something to reconcile sasuke, whether its him dying for the sake of the leaf village or him getting forgiven. But no overall he is too far gone to be saved.

If Naruto can't save Sasuke, he can't forgive himself and he won't be the Hokage. He'll always regret that he couldn't save his best friend, so that wouldn't be a very good ending.

My point was that people love gaara now because he showed he can be trusted and that he´s not just a monster, there was nothing to redeem of himself, nothing that happened was his fault, everything that the village put him through is what made him the very thing they feared in the first place.

Nagato brought back the village and he was narutos brother disciple, he wanted peace and he asked what he would do to face hatred and naruto at the same time wanted to live up to what jiraiya expected of him, their motives were the same but the way was different, Nagato fell away from what j-man taught him and wanted to bring peace through pain.
He realized what he was doing wrong and naruto would believe in j-mans teaching unlike him so he thought naruto could really do it as long as he doesn´t fall from j-mans teaching like he himself did.
It was also that book that brought everything full circle and the fact that nagato could revive people.


If Sasuke revived the people he killed along with his clan then everything would be fine.
If everyones loved ones was brought back then no one would want revenge.

The things sasuke does are not justifiable, i can´t defend him even if i tried my best, there is no good argument i could put forth to defend sasuke except for "what would u do if your family was killed" which has infinite possibilities of where it could go but sasuke chose the path he´s on and no one can say otherwise. His actions are not something you can just return from.

IMO Sasuke does not deserve being forgiven. Ok, lets get 1 thing straight, he did infact had a awful childhood with memories of his brother killing everybody in his family and clan but that does not mean he should just go living the way he does, killing and betraying his allies (karin, jugo,suigetsu,)

I mean lets be reasonable, Itachi died for Sasuke's sake and do you think if Itachi was alive he would be proud of the path that his little brother has taken?

He has had way too many chances and opportunities to get his life straight but noo he just continues his rebellious ways killing and destroying everything in his way.

Sasuke had a awful childhood i give him that but take a look at both Naruto and Gaara who had equally bad memories or maybe even worse.

Naruto never even got to physically meet his parents and when he did he found out that they died FOR HIM. While Sasuke had the best fuking brother anyone could wish for (Itachi) he played with him, and everything but NARUTO NEVER HAD ANYTHING TO BEGIN WITH.
And now look at Naruto, he is probably the person everyone looks up to.

Gaara was a dam animal when he was little he almost killed Rock Lee and he was mostly solitary alot like naruto cause no one wanted to be with a monster, and now look at Gaara, hes the KAGE.

IN SUMMARY

I dont think Sasuke deserves to be forgiven, if it was up to me I wanna see Naruto killing him, but of course thats not gonna happen.

Whether you like it or not sasuke is going to carve a path of righteous vengence right to the elders. The only one that will stop sasuke from gutting them like a fish is sasuke. I'm thinking maybe suishis eye may play a role in him deciding. Oh and just so you all know. He planned on separating himself from taka. That is why he collapsed those pillars. That is why he stabbed Karin. He didn't want them involved. The fight with naruto will end with him faking his death to disapear. If you want to flame me go right ahead. Like Sasuke said, Naruto doesn't know what it's to lose someone until Jiraiya died. Naruto wanted revenge and hated Nagato. Naruto couldn't understand Sasuke when they fought in Valley of the end, but now that he has lost someone important to him, he understands Sasuke.

First off, no such thing as a 100% criminal.You either are one or your aren't, sure there are grey areas, but sasuke crossed those years ago.

Secondly, I made the poll so i can't see what people thought, and i won't flame you for thinking that he will be forgiven(nothing wrong with that).I just happened to disagree,and corrected some factual mistakes.

Lastly, you can't just say look at gaara He got away with murder so obviously sasuke should too.You have to look at what sasuke did at judge him from that.Sasuke did far worse things than gaara, and unlike gaara sasuke had everybody's support, but he still not only left konoha, but he did stuff that(in my opinion) he can't take back like the whole kage summit fiasco.It was his choice to not listen anybody.If he had returned after "killing" itachi i think he would have been forgiven.

Let's say in your city a dirty politicians is responsible for killing a man's entire family (the whole Sasuke story). The guy kills him on his way there he makes bad contacts, and decide to destroy the city. A war breaks out everyone is fighting people are dying and this man in the end helps the city win the war and either he dies or he manages to survive with a victory for the city.

What would you do? would you consider him still a criminal? Would you not forgive him knowing, he changed himself and helped save the city? I know this is a question far off, but it's small view towards this. Lets not forget most of Konoha was willing to forgive Sasuke, but they don't know the truth of the massacre yet, Naruto wanted to tell them and Neji wanted to know in one of the scenes, but Kakashi stopped him.

I'm sorry won't be responding too all replays, but I'll post my conclusion on this thread.

I said before like I said now, IF at the end, Sasuke helps the alliance, I think he can be forgiven for what he has done till now.

IF Sasuke kills people in the war (important especially), or attacks Konoha, than Yes, he cannot be forgiven as I can't see how, unless Kishi springs something up.

I don't believe, he's done what the likes Tobi, Madara, and even what Nagato did (unforgivable things). Naruto and Tsunade said it to Nagato even when Naruto knew the truth of Nagato.

It can go either way, forgiveness can be there, but also he still has to cross that line, but once cross no return.

My opinion.

That little charade he pulled off at the summit pretty much did it for him. So yes, he should be executed but Kishi isn't going to let that happen.

This is no Sasuke bashing session, I want to know what Sasuke’s punishment should be if he gets caught. Should he be forgiven?Perhaps the death penalty, or do you think he should do some time in jail.

He is not weak, and despite everything Naruto still believes he can bring him back. The question is to what? Unless, Naruto becomes Hokage I simply can’t see Sasuke being forgiven for all his actions.

List of crimes:

1: Left with not only a missing-nin but the guy who was responsible for the third hokage’s death.
2: Joined akatsuki the nr.1 terrorist group on the show.
3: An attempt to capure killer b.
4: Killed samurai people.
5: Invaded the summit and fought with every kage present.
6: Attempted murder on team 7 on several occasions.
7. Assualted/killed Danzo, who was acting Hokage.
8. Desertion. He left without giving any notice, despite being part of an official team .
9: Animal cruelty. No snake deserves to get blown up (ok, this might not be a crime)

In essence, he went from being a simple missing-nin shinobi from konoha, to an international criminal who assassinated a public figure. This is why I think he will either die or become a vigilante who got rid of his hatred and anger.

well....to tell the truth jail time because if you campare that to what kisame did then sasuke's crimes will look like a chuwawa next to a rottwieler. His crimes are small compared to kisame.
