This is a purely subjective topic; hopes and dreams... i for one, simply believe that humans cannot sustain the dreams of one another because they are not laced with good will unless, of course, they are laced with gratitude for Allah. Only then will pure intentions be conveyed.

Aside from the obvious subjective element to my thinking highlighted above, i'd like to just state that people should rely on Allah to attain their dreams, and to do so with gratitude. Hope is to believe that one thing cannot be attained by the will of the individual, so one seeks an external entity to fulfill it. The absence of direction is the cause of confusion and thus the entrapment of one into the musings of men such as the one highlighted in the video above.

If one were to solidify the source of the solution in the action of "hope" they would be able to rely on it and thus further their own integral relations with Allah. This is most beneficial as Allah is the pure, just and truthful entity that one can rely on for the best for themselves. What comes with this profound knowledge is gratitude - a thankfulness for Allah gracing one with Allah's indomitable goodness.
