Orochimaru is now under power next to Naruto and Sasuke,He is now of no consequence and His son is part of the new team seven. No Orochimaru is now retired against 5 United Nations He stands no chance.

And then Orochimaru uses Sarada and Boruto through Mitsuki as leverage to backstab Naruto and Sasuke. The potential of Orochimaru still being the Final Villain is still out there but it has not being developed yet.

What you keep forgetting is Naruto changes people including Orochimaru and Boruto and Sarada’s potential should not be underestimated their both under the way to being powerful Shinobi and Konochi in their own right and the last thing Orochimaru wants is Sasuke and Naruto opening up a can of whoop Ass on Him.

Orochimaru was always overrated and he would have made a terribly weak final villain. Notice he was only part 1 final villain for a reason. Part 2 was out of his league. He gets negged by most kage level ninja

This.... Orochimaru can't compete with many other villains and just gets
curb stomped.

He needed more build up, but he definitely had a more chilling vibe than let's say. . A man who's goals are assbackwards, and a prepubescent manchild. I don't recognize Kaguya as an entity, it's pretty bad. Pein should have taken it, imo. I could see him leading the war, facing off against the allied shinobi army with his six paths.

Oro is not the talk influence villain type. I highly doubt he would change his mind by Naruto trying to lecture him. Just like Kaguya/Black Zetsu he has a pure Evil mindset and he won't get influenced by the Talk No Jutsu of Naruto. Also, remember Oro choose the path of Sasuke by his own desire, he was not influenced by the protagonists one bit (The only case where people thought TNJ worked on Oro).

Boruto doesn't even know who Oro is. For Sarada, Oro is an enigma. The lack of knowledge on Oro could easily give the win to Oro. Oro would logically know everything about Boruto and Sarada through Mitsuki and would have suitable counters ready for them. There is no way both can win against Oro unless Mitsuki turns to Boruto's side. This development would perhaps only happen near the end, not at the start of the story, so Oro still has the chance.

This is not DBZ, where power is everything, the story focuses on the ninjas theme where cunning strategies and teamwork can easily demolish powerhouses even if the characters employing the strategies are weak - some examples being : JJ Madara getting backstabbed and negged, Kaguya a goddess falling to teamwork, etc.

As I said, if Oro holds Boruto and Sarada hostage, Naruto and Sasuke will follow Oro's words to the letter irrelevant of their power levels. Both were willing to take the high stakes to protect their children. The emotional upheaval they will face on seeing their children taken hostage by a pure Evil scientist will negate all the power level advantage they have.

I think Pain would've been the best final villain, then have the final fight be between sage Naruto and ms Sasuke

Fact He change He is seen now with female fracture and a son who’s not part of Sound but Leaf. and don’t forget His side kick Kabuto who now runs Orphanage. Orochimaru has change He even told Tsunade in the War Arc that now He wants to see others blow the wines of change.

- His Female form (If it really is) is just a disguise to throw his enemies off track. Did you forget that Oro is a crafty snake ?

- And His son Mitsuki could very well be an undercover Spy working for him.

- Kabuto still has his Snake Marks and has an army of Shins under his control. It's possible that Oro did not completely extract his consciousness from Kabuto (Hence the Snake marks) and Oro could easily take control/Influence Kabuto's state of mind to start another invasion against Konoha using the Shin Army.

- Yes, he wanted to see the winds of change but we never knew that he still had any ulterior motives or not. Oro was basically going along with the flow at that time in order to hide his true villainy.

The boys were no mach for Naruto and Sasuke add five Nations to the equation and you have one dead Orochimaru. Face facts the days of Orochimaru being the main villain is gone its now a want to be a villain day.If theirs a noter move then a new villain will be created again for it. Sines their docent’t seem a new Manga of Naruto is in the works for the near future, the bent we can get is a noter movie.

A villain losing a few battles throughout the story does not prevent it from being final boss. Kefka kept being a joke in the game and eventually amassed enough power to become a god and destroy most of society.

Every major villain in Naruto had outside power sources to actually make them a danger. Obito, Pein, and especially Madara had a bunch of upgrades to make them a threat to the world. As such, Orochimaru with his superior knowledge would also be a threat if the story required it. Kishimoto pointed this out clearly by how Sasuke himself said not to underestimate Orochimaru.

One can say whatever about flashy power levels, but Orochimaru is the major villain in the series who didn't end up kicking the bucket.

No. He is the legendary Villain, and let it be that way. He is immortal villain so if you make him final villain, Naruto world dies.

A while before the series ended I had a thought about Orochimaru snatching Naruto's body instead and using some secret Uzumaki tricks to become the last super powerful villain. Then the tables would turn and the rookies would have to gang up with Sasuke to defeat Naruto... I knew it was nigh impossible but it was still fun to think about.

No, Madara as the final villain is better, even of Pain. Because it is he who started it all, including Konoha...

Thanks to Madara (and Hashirama) Konoha was founded , kyuubi hated humans, Obito became Tobi, the suspicion against the Uchiha increased thanks to him, Nagato had the Rinnegan and fourth ninja war broke out thanks to his name.

But Kaguya is the mother of the Sage who started the ninja. This series is about the ninja, not Konoha alone. Pein started a ninja war, but Black Zetsu is the one who instigated all the ninja wars. Best would have been Orochimaru since the lasted longer than any villain and got away with it all. Guy even as his arms back and lives like a pimp. Everyone else is rotting.

Oro or Maddy should have been the villains, but I would rather have Madara because he was being hyped since part 1 as the real one to overcome.
