Should Neji have died vs Kimimaro?

Kishi has given him nothing for him to do in Part two despite the fact that he was hyped up like crazy in the Chuunin exams arc.

It would have added more sorrow to the end of Part One and could have been used for Shikamaru's feeling of inadequacy as team leader. Also Rock Lee could have fought against an Edo Tensei Neji to prove once and for all that a genius of hard work can overcome a genius, which he never got to do getting beat by Gaara and Kimimaro. Lee could have went all out 8 gates and beaten him and it would have been a great ending for both of these two awesome characters.

They were hot subjects , 5 Years ago.

When Part two started I was really interested in the development of all their characters. But knowing what I know now, I would have wished they at least got their stories wrapped up at least, with or without them dying.

Since Neji was a lot better than the other three Konoha Genin, maybe they could have had Kimimaro come and fight him after he fought Kidomaro, then kill him, then have Lee come in and fight Kimimaro.

I don't. But since he's getting zero development anyway, I would have liked for his story to end heroically and also serve to push character development for the other ninjas(Shikamaru his squad leader, Naruto his friend, Rock Lee his rival, Hinata his relative).

So for neji to gain development he has to die? Neji is to elite to die and by elite I am talking shinobi level not mini god level like how sasuke and naruto will become and how hashi and madara are.

Anyway I think neji is just under kakashi and guy in konoha yes I think he's above asuma come at brother hmm yamato I think there about the same level there. Neji's a boss
