Should Naruto have ended sooner?

Some purists claim that the Pain arc was the last good showing of artistry in the manga. what do yall think should the ma nga continue or should it have ended. If so what endind did you want to have. In addition what should the conclusion of the story and its final battle have been

well i think thats where a time skip should have happened, but not ended. now if there is a time skip whats going to happen? how can naruto and sasuke get much stronger after say 3 more years? they have almost achieved max potential

The manga has to end when all the questions are answered.

It should've ended sooner, yes, but definitely not at the Pain arc. This war just dragged out to long and has had a lot of disappointing plot points. The awesome ones keep me reading though.

Naruto could've ended after the Pain Arc if Naruto became Hokage and Sasuke came back to the village after defeating Itachi.

I think the pein arc was the last good arc but it shouldn't have ended their. Their was still a lot to be explained and kishi should have gone through with the whole sasuke naruto final fight . Now it's going to be tough to pull that one off

I think this final battle should end the war. Then a 10-year time skip afterwords would be nice for the characters to age a bit.

I'm fine that it's still going. I am just not all that thrilled at how it's been going. On that note. I think the reason a number of us are so displeased with events is mainly the lack of the Akatsuki. I get they played their part but honestly, In my Opinion:

Sasuke should have had his reckoning with Itachi during this war.

Naruto should have settled up with Pain in this war.

I would have leveled up Sakura enough to able to take on Kabuto herself instead of brining Itachi back from the dead to do it.

K11 Definately could have settled up with Kakuzu and Hidan during this war and not their edoes

I would have completely left the edo's and Kaguya out and just Had Obito be the final villain in this war before Sasuke and Naruto's fight.

Other than that? Can't really think of anything else.

I felt like it should have continued. If it ended after the Pain Arc, we wouldn't know what happened to Sasuke, the Akatski, and etc
