Should kids be allowed to fast during RAMADAN?

Cus some elementary schools won't let them, they force them to eat.
Some people think this is a good thing, maybe cus kids need to eat, and I'm sure it's not the biggest thing in the world, I think kids don't have to do this as muslims, or older people.
But I kinda think they should be allowed to starve if they actually want too.

I didn't understand what you said but some schools force kids to eat over hear, at least they did so during this years Ramadan, they told the kids that if they didn't eat it was the same as skipping class and it was mandatory so they would have energy to be active in school.

They should be allowed to do what they like, if they wish to abstain from food they have the right to do so.

I dislike it when people tell you what you can and can't do but it's hard to argue against.

Biology states that for a young kid it is required for them to have the daily value of each food group for various reasonings, growth for a major part. Its just ignorance to force a kid to starve, its even warned by people that know fasting very well and have studied it that you specifically not express it towards a certain age group. But i suppose yet again this is why america is the greatest country, any country who thinks its perfectly okay to let kids starve is beyond mental retardation, or perhaps lack of study and knowledge.

I'm not saying it's healthy, cus it isnt, but it's not like it would kill them right? I mean I get that they shouldn't do it but to force them, isn't that a little extreme? Maybe if you get used to it, then it's fine. Respect school I guess.

You shouldn't blindly respect a system unless you know your own values good enough, then consider giving your respect. And no it wouldn't kill the kid, but it would majorly damage the kid in the long run, just like smoking at a young age. Like i said, this isn't a debate, it is scientifically proven that kids require a certain daily amount of all food groups to grow and develop normally.

I just dislike the idea of someone in charge telling you what to do but I have to agree what you say makes sense.
