Should I watch Durara?

Hi there guys.

I've heard that Durara is a good anime, and I wanted to watch it, but I'm torn between actually watching it or not.
I know that it has a season 2 announced, but that was like 4 years ago and we all know that it's not happening.

Basically, I don't want to watch Durara and be left in a mood that anticipates more stuff, because it's not going to come.
So, if I was to finish season 1, would it leave me in a way that say something happened, but the cause has not yet been told, which would supposed to be aired in season 2 but never will.
Basically, I just don't want to be left with an unfinished story, even if it's good.

Like Clannad, Clannad has Clannad and the After Story, but you could just finish Clannad and not watch the After Story (surely you would be missing out on some good stuff ) and you could still feel as if the anime really finished, even though there is more.

I thouroughly enjoyed Durarara. It gives u a slice of life of a town called Ikebukoro. I dont know how accurate the representation is, but i nonetheless found it entertaining.

I personally was satisfied with the ending of Durarara. Most of the things are explained well in the anime. Not too many open ends.

I didnt like Clannad Afterstory, personally, because i thought it was a bit depressing.

Id suggest you to go ahead and watch Durarara. Im sure ull enjoy it, it has a range of personalities which i found thoroughly entertaining.

Watch Baccano instead. But start from episode 2. Episode 1 is technically the final episode.

Watch them both. Durarara and Baccano. DRRR!!! has an ending where you know more is left to be told however everything they bothered to mention in part 1 is resolved(if that makes sense) Also I heard just a couple of weeks ago they are going ahead with season 2.

Yes, it does end where the light novels continue, but it's still worth the watch (it ends in a nice spot, anyways).

I'd watch the dub, too, if I were you. It goes either way cause both are great, but I found the dub to be a lot more fun to watch (lots of big-time VAs got brought in for it).

I tried to watch it. I think I saw first 2 or more episodes and didn't like it, so I quit.
