I just turned 18 and i am interested in getting involved in politics and making my voice heard but i am confused about which party best represents me.

1. I support gay marriage, abortion and marijuana legalization.

2.I dont want any gun control and i believe in the second amendment strongly.

3. I believe in personal responsibility and hard work. I want to get rid of many social program.

4. I believe the rich should be taxed more than middle income and poor folks and i suppot universal healthcare.

Based on my beliefs which ideology do i lean more to liberal or conservative? And which party represents me best.

I recommend not voting based on party alone, it's best to see what each individual in a party believes as some could have beliefs that differ from the party itself. So it's best to research and pay close attention to what each candidate stands for, as well as if you believe them to be trustworthy.

For the ones you listed, number 2 and 4 are Republican qualities and number 1 and 3 are Democratic. So you're neutral based on this. Focus on the candidates and their policies more right now and hopefully you pick what you think is best.

You might be a Liberal Republican.

A Liberal Republican is who is aligned to the Republican form of government but agrees with the changes imposed by the Global World without giving up the morals and ethics of a healthy society.

I think healthcare is a basic right. but i dont think food, housing, government buying you a steak, car or whatever is needed. However at the very least government shouldnt let its people die.

Does the democratic party support the second amendment? I dont want any gun control!

You don't want ANY gun control, none what so ever? And you just turned 18 you say?

OT: Don't vote via party as the 2 party system has all but killed democracy in our country. Also until the electoral college is removed your vote only matters to sway the decision of the state representative, it's their vote that actually determines the president. The best use of voting you can demonstrate in US anymore is voting for or against state reps. who vote against your ideals.

So we should fix people when they're hurt or ill but not provide them food and shelter if they can't provide their own? Even though no food or shelter means more in need of healthcare to malnutrition and diseases. How exactly do you come to the rationalization that healthcare is a basic right but food isn't?

Don't vote. Be a conspiracy theorist because they all are pawn to the NWO. Vote for an independent candidate

no but most of your views are democratic.
How can an american party not support one of the amendment in our constitution? How is that possible?
Food is a basic right too doe
People can work hard and get food. Healthcare costs can be very high. The cost of treating cancer isnt the same as buying a double burger.

I want to vote for someone who has a viable chance of winning and sadly it must either be a democrat or republican.

People can work hard and go to work to earn money for food and housing. Working double shift even if it is as a plumber or even a fast food worker. However some medical bills and costs may cost well above a million dollars without insurance, not being able to afford treatment to treat cancer or diabetes is the same as not getting food.Stop comparing apples and oranges.

You care a lot about healthcare, then Republicans is not for you. They want to privatize Healthcare.

Just like ~Naruto&Itachi~ said, Bernie Sanders is someone you might be interested in. He's been a part of the Independent party for decades but recently became a Democrat (which is understandable since his chances would improve).

1. Bernie supports gay marriage, abortion and marijuana legalization.

2. He's a senator from Vermont, a rural state, and knows that eliminating guns completely is unrealistic. His gun policy just calls for more extensive background checks and if you have previous felonies you would be denied.

3. Bernie believes in social programs. That's probably the one thing you wouldn't agree with.

4. He wants to increases taxes on the rich and provide healthcare as a right.
