I found TG anime to be ridiculously fast paced so went back to manga. You will only appreciate and fully understand the plot from the manga. The anime is pretty epic and too darn rushed

I don't encourage them not to read the manga, it's 100% worth it. I just wanna say that watching season 2 can do no harm. (As one of the few who genuinely enjoyed season 1)
