Should I read the manga?

I watched all the episode of Hunter X Hunter 2011, I was wondering should I read the manga? Which chapter should I read the manga?

Is it worth starting from chapter 1 incase the anime left somethings out? I know Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood skipped a few things from the anime which were in the manga.

Start reading from chapter 340. You'll notice a significant improvement in the art during chapter 341 and onward so don't get turned off by the art that quick. You can reread chapter 1 since the HxH 2011 anime skipped out on the backstory between Kite & Gon (I'm not sure if the anime mentioned it in the election arc). Other than that backstory, the anime covered everything the manga did, so need to worry about that. It's not that important since you're caught up with the anime but I just wanted to mention it.

Edit: I forgot to answer your question xD Yes! You should read the manga but if you're the impatient type of guy then just picture the anime as the ending to the entire series.

Its odd how HxH goes on hiatus right after TG starts to boost in popularity. Ishida also did some artwork talking about how he'll make a Hisoka Spinoff manga for HxH on April 1st 2015. It could mean Togashi wanted a fresh start as a mangaka. Also its odd how Togashi went on hiatus with 349 chapters of HxH. If you do 1000 - 7 over and over. You'll eventually get 349. Also the same can be said for the final chapter number count for Tokyo Ghoul Part 1.
