Should I read Bleach?

I have read the first 10 chapters about, but it doesn't seem like anything special. And I don't really like the whole shinigami stuff, and the story doesn't captivate me.

I've also seen some eps of the anime, but I don't like it. The quality is sort of bad, and it's kinda silly.

But I want to see what all the hype is about. Should I keep reading the manga and keep watching the anime?

complaining in a naruto forum about filler episodes in another anime (makes sense)... anyway, compared to naruto, bleach has a basic story, but more action and better animation (aside from the first arc)... what more can be said, it's a shonen anime, it'll drag things out for as long as it can... the anime did end though, for now. As for the manga, it's on an interesting arc at the moment... cant really say much without spoiling...

Trust me I was like you. But the manga becomes amazing soon in the soul society arc. Watch the anime it's ALOT more better trust me just skip the fillers.

Read the manga and watch the anime. In my opinion the animation quality is alot smoother than naruto

From what I have seen the anime looks pretty bad. Bad animation, quality. If it is not very good I don't feel like watching over 200 episodes just to have some good arcs or episodes. And I'm willing to read the manga if it actually gets captivating and has great characters and a great story.

if you like naruto, and you're not a fanboy that cant accept other shows, you'll come to like bleach

Bleach has a severe case of ups and down(no wonder, the length) but the ups are extremely good and the down make you wonder why bother.

Watch the anime except filler, then switch to manga... quite good. But if you want to watch really good stuff(or read), there's plenty other stuff out there.
