Should I continue my poetry?

I have noticed that my poetry has become less popular the more I post. Have people become bored with my work? Should I just stop writing poetry in general? I wish for you opinions and if you haven't read them here are some:

but if youre doing it for yourself or you like the art of writing then just keep posting and who cares what others think.

i personally just read them and they are not bad, but since i dont relate to them they didnt seem anything special either, but just keep writing if thats what makes you happy.
Or if it is for attention, i guess ask what others think or ask for criticism. Of course some people will hate so be ready.

ikiko, why would you stop writing? i know how much you love writing poems. if people dont read them or post a comment on them, dont get discouraged. you write for your own pleasure and not for anyone else's.

as for improvement, i dont know what to say to that, but my sensei narugoku told me that i should always try to answer the who,what, why, where, when, how when writing. and also to always use the senses: touch, hear, smell, sight, taste etc to captivate the reader/audience.

i am still learning myself and trying to improve. and only by trying and writing and trying and re-writing can we learn. so just keep your spirit up you are doing a good job!
