Homo/bisexuality is just a trait.
You can't "cure" it no more than you could "cure" heterosexuality. Outmoded cultural values once saw homosexuality as atypical, but that only encouraged gays to conceal their sexuality from society, registering a much smaller demographic vs. heteros. Hormonal levels in the womb differ for different sexualities, and that's how it comes about. There's no scientific reasoning saying that one balance is "more right", only the some antiquated and quite frankly weird cultural ideas.
I've never once understood why it bothers anyone even if two guys only hold hands in public. As long as they're not trying to hold yours, what's the problem? It should only bother people if they were doing something explicit, or if it's something they desire. But even when it's apparently neither, they still seem to be magnetized to it.
Humans can be queer beings at times.
