Businesses should be taxed at a much lower rate. They might make more money, but they take on a much higher level of risk.
"Businesses should be taxed less"
Um No. Go work for any of the big places, Hell even the normal food joint.
Those places are the MOST wasteful places on the planet. All the restaurants I worked throw out So much food everyday. And No I don't mean like garbage food. I mean like an entire pot of pasta ( HUGE POT ) that was cooked maybe 3 hours ago... 100s of Glass Wine bottles a week and the list goes on.
Super markets/Retail are as bad. if something comes in and the box is say smashed. it will be marked as "Damaged" and just thrown away. Nope the Employees can't have it, no 1 can. Right to the trash and if you try to dig for it you are fired or they will call the police. Target was the Only place I ever worked who tried to save as much as it could and donate it. So if a Can was dented or something they would donate it.
And the List goes on. There is honestly enough food and supplies thrown away and wasted by Businesses is the USA to actually feed and supply all the homeless. Public throws away things that could be donated each day. The Amount of money wasted and you wonder how these places get so **** about paying people more then 1$ over the Minimal wage.
I will go on about Businesses in General. They have had Tax breaks for over 10 years. Yes 10 Years, when bush came into office it all started. The LESS they are taxed the LESS JOBs there are for the people.
I will say it plain and simple. Tax Breaks DO NOT CREATE JOBS. The Middle class spending Money CREATES JOBS. Having 1 CEO collect the pay of say 300,000 people does not replace the amount of clothes, food, entertainment and so on those 300k people would have bought. 1 person collecting that much money leaves a gap in the system because they will only buy enough for 1 person , not 300k.
Its the Middle class who spends money, increases demand and forces businesses to hire to keep up that creates jobs. More supply to meet that demand. Look at any chart and you will see a direct effect that businesses getting lower taxes Increased the amount of people without jobs.
Less money for the middle class to spend means less demand.
Someone Winning a large amount of money is no Dif then a CEO investing and seeing returns. The Rich need to be taxed fairly like everyone else. if a lotto winner gets taxed more then a rich person getting the same amount of cash then you have a problem. But if its the same then it doesn't matter. That's why the system is broken. The rich are getting taxed less and less.
Say you make cars for your business to use.. The more cars you make the more gas it takes to fill them. So Bob makes 3 cars and pays for X amount of Gas. Jack makes 10Xs the amount of cars and should pay 10xs the amount in gas,so the more cars you make the more gas you need to buy. Now America is set up so that Bob still has to buy the same amount of gas while Jack actually has to buy LESS Gas even though he has more cars and he gets extra gas to use from BOB.
