I doubt it. The main storyboard writer is supervising the Anime script, which was most likely made around this time.

Boruto's Dojutsu as least based on the anime spoilers, is going to be put on a back-burner until we get a real activation in the Manga.

I'm assuming anyway.

anything that isn't involved in the manga should not be taken seriously. Remember when Kishi said that he is supervising the anime from after the Juubito arc and yet we got the Otsutsuki origin filler arc?

yeah I had high hopes for that since they've said "no more filler"

No not really. He was able to move because of the seal, he defeated a god. Ocular doujutsus don't let you move freely outside of time because it's chakra of the eyes and not the entire body. Momoshiki stopping time is a rinnegan technique too not a byukagan power.

I don't think boruto's doujutsu was needed, when momo was the one who manifested himself to boruto or at least it seemed that way.

The current arc being canon is debatable tbh, i've heard the new author is the story supervisor for the anime & kishi read over the story and gave it the "OK". There's some minor inconsistencies though.
