That's stupid depression is not something to kill oneself then every person in this world must kill themselves .

and that article says 5 people die for a day in Belgium that means 1825 a year that must be highest rate of suicides for year, if it considered that way

Euthanasia has become the new Sati (practice) system.

A long time muslim invader attacked India and killed men and raped their wives,This caused women to jump in to fire and commit being scared of being raped. After the war is over Sati practice continued but forced by greedy family members who wanted the property. The threw wife in to fire forcefully claiming its what good for her.

Euthanasia has the same flaw, the relatives who want property or enemies or people who just like killing people will force euthanasia on those who can't fight back. The patient has to agree to Euthanasia and property or share of patient must be donated to government so people won't take advantage.

Depression is not a reason for assisted suicide, time heals all pain.

No.

Depression is only temporary, sure you might suffer true several depressions in you're life, but a depression will eventually end.

suicide is a permant solution to a temporary problem.

First a kick in the ass might be better .... Just as a teaser as there is not really a guaranteed painless way to die.

The important question is not if it should be legal but if it was legal how it should be regulated to avoid all possible mistake and abuse.
