[Discussion] Should a student get involve in politics?

Title says it all......So what are your thoughts guys?


Personally i don't like politics...As they say it is a dirty game.......Well i don't know much about politics but i don't think a student should get involve in politics!

I think so.. People should know what is being discussed that can affect our government.

I wouldn't pick a party though I would stay independent as both sides can be dumb.

I am a student and I am 18 next weekend and I dont know much about politics but I know one thing. I am not voting for Obama. I am not racist. I've done my research and I know what I am talking about. But students should get into politics. This country is ran and will continue to be run by the young generation. If our generation dont know anything about politics then this country will fall. Please get into politics so we can save our Country

Nowadays in schools worldwide, there is this activity that allows students to be involved to a degree in politics, Model United Nations (MUN). You can look it up but its usually a farce.

As for Democracy and that crap of our vote being counted . . -_-' PLEASE gimme A BREAK!

Watch "Fahrenheit 9/11" then talk about Democracy and how votes are couned, and that's in what we think to be the Almightiest Democracy in the World, HAAAAAAMERICAAA!!!

Also Give it a thought, HOW DEMOCRATIC IS democracy if fully implemented . .?

We all know(if we were to assume that our votes are counted) that competition is very tough and the 52% and 48% scenario is no stranger really . . .
