Summation of this thread, Luffy's awakening will allow him to stretch the abstract concepts around him the same way Kuma can repel abstract concepts like pain i.e. space, his own weaknesses his body's natural propotions, pain tolerances whatever he wants.
All the messages we have gotten about devil fruits awakenings are different based off of what type they are.
For paramecia its too add your power to your surroundings

For a zoan its to completely submerge into your animal form gaining almost immortal level resiliency and a monster form with unparalleled strength

And for logias
Presumably add an attribute of their element to their enviroment

I.e Crocdile can dry out what every he wants and black beard can absorb what ever he wants
So no assuming doffy didn't turn the buildings into strings but just instantly gave them on contact the properties of strings then its not that he can create strings but force the things around him to obey his devil fruits power. Now assume Kuma ( A paw paw man) had the same awakening and could repel what ever he want, the same way doffy could make strings out of whatever he wanted. It would explain how he a man whose power maybe is just to reject things away from himself would be able to Transfer someone else's pain.
Now apply this to luffy. The environment around him wouldn't become rubber but you would see it begin to behave like rubber and not just physical things abstract concepts like pain, space, time, natural factors of size or strength or fatigue and once they pick up luffy's malleability he can bend them like an extension of his arms and legs giving himself an new form or even slowing down time or stretching space out to increase or decrease distance

All this awakening stuff gets hyped way too much IMO. No one gave it much thought when it was introduced during the Impel Down arc and no one questioned the DF abilities that were used so far; but ever since DD used his awakening powers, everyone is seeing awakenings everywhere despite the reality there is neither a reason nor a point in assuming any of the already introduced DF have been awakened.
No one questioned Crocodile's DF. Luffy beat Crocodile all they way back in Alabasta. But now that awakenings are hot, he suddenly must have had it despite the fact that whether he has or not is a mute point. Same thing with Kuma, same thing with countless other characters. Hence suddenly assuming that all of them have awakened DF is extremely questionable. If so many characters already had it and we didn't really question it, why now so long after just because of DD?
What you are doing is making assumptions based on assumptions based on other assumptions and gaining a result that doesn't even remotely conform anymore with common sense. It's possible that some characters were already awakened, however just assuming that all of these characters that you mentioned are awakened, is a stretch. I mean Blackbeard ate his DF still very recently and almost 50% of its abilities are absorbing stuff and then you assume that he's already awakened? If he was already using his awakened powers, then what does his DF normally do? And why did he want the Yami Yami no Mi so bad? It's not like he could predict he would awaken.
And on top of that highly questionable assumption you assume that there is a strong correlation between all the DF types despite the fact that the only confirmed awakened DF are DD's string fruit and a few zoans in ID. You then make yet another assumption where you think that just because "abstract" concepts are frequently used in conjunction with DF, that you can randomly take any abstraction. Many mundane DF are by default abstract, it has always been like that and is not something that's unique to potential awakened DF. Bartolomeo's, Kuma's and many others have by default what can be considered abstract concepts, but you really shouldn't pull this out of proportion.
DD's DF allows him to create strings. That's it. These strings are not made out of steel, rope, iron or anything else; they are "strings". So in that regard even DD's DF is an abstraction. You say there is a difference between DD turning the environment into strings and infusing it with string properties, but there is none as they are exactly the same. His DF allows him to create string, so "infusing" his DF power into the environment would be infusing the "ability to create strings", meaning he turns it into strings. The strings he created that way were exactly the same as his regular ones, only on a larger scale. Luffy's rubber fruit however is the complete opposite of that. Luffy can't create rubber, he can't manipulate rubber, he can't do anything with rubber. The only thing that that fruit did, was transforming his body in rubber, nothing else. Everything Luffy has done with his fruit, every attack is nothing more than an application of his rubber body, this while DD's body is normal.
So you went from a rubber body that only ever was used in a physical way to distort time and space

It's kicking an open door in that your reasoning is majorly flawed on all points. Even if Kuma's ability to take fatigue away would be the result of an awakening, in the end his power is having paws that repel anything it touches. Even if "fatigue" is an abstract concept, the ability of his paw remain exactly the same. However distorting time and space seriously has nothing to do anymore with the rubber fruit. If that was an acceptable logic, then every DF in existence could start doing stuff like this:
- Sabo can burn away time
- Daz Bones can cut space
etc.
I have no idea what an awakened rubber DF would result in, however Oda really is not going to turn an ability that he only used in a physical way into what you describe.
