Ok, Over on Sasuke's side the figure standing behind him is Indra, the Hindu God of War and Weather the literal King of Gods. As we know in Naruto Indra (Elder Son of Hagoromo) was known for his strong yin powers inherited from his father the So6P.

My point??? Well, I think its possible that yin and the original Indra has some connection to the lightning element and that Sasuke's Black Lightning is a fusion between his own Lightning based chakra and the Yin Power he now possesses

This gives us a clear showing that Shadow Style can be used to create lightning.

This is technique was only utilized once and that is after Sasuke's initial Cursed Seal of Heaven lv2. As we all know Yin=Heaven so it is possible that the CM on its first awakening amplified Sasuke's chidori resulting in the black chidori

What does this mean???

Amaterasu is the highest level Fire Release technique, and is noted to be Itachi Uchiha's strongest ninjutsu which stems from his dōjutsu. It is said to represent the "Material World and Light" (物質界と光, Busshitsukai to Hikari)

Amaterasu is not Blaze release, but instead the highest level of Fire Release. This level of Fire Release is achieved only through the Sharingan (a doujutsu which utilizes yin chakra), a doujutsu passed down from the Uchiha's predecessor Indra.

My Hypothesis:
My Hypothesis is that Yin can be used to strengthen elements much like wind does fire, however has only been shown to work for Fire and Lightning. Its possible that just like Amaterasu is the highest level of Fire release, Black Lightning is the strongest form of Lightning Release. Not sure as to why Darui or The Third Raikage could utilize this level of lightning release or even whether what kind of power their black lightning packs.

Amaterasu is a Fire Release with no weaknesses it is also supposedly much stronger than any Fire Release jutsu
I kind of expect the same of the Black Lightning and not only that, but also for Sasuke to be able to manipulate the Black lightning at an even higher level than what we have seen him do with his usual lightning release and seeing how its power might date back to the original Indra Hagoromo's chakra the only way black lightning's true strength can be realizedd it will most likely be much much stronger than what we have seen so far from the element.

I am also thinking there might be a connection between these black elemental releases and Omnyoton

It would also fit the parallel of Indra and Ashura. Sasuke has Fire and Lightning, Naruto has Wind. Madara had Fire, Hashirama had Wood, Water and Earth.

I was kinda in a rush while doing this, but a while back I read a theory about the dragon in Chinese mythology and the phoenix paralleling to the Senju and Uchiha along with their elements.

It also makes sense that the Rinnegan (Ashura + Indra = Hagoromo) gives the user the chance to easily learn jutsu of all chakra natures. Ashura (Yang) + Indra (Yin) = Hagoromo (Yin-Yang). Yin (Fire + Lightning) + Yang (Earth + Water + Wind) = Rinnegan.

Very nice theory, I can definitely buy into it. And I definitely see some yin lightning chidori spears in the near future (and maybe even a cloak, though that isn't sasuke's style)

This actually makes sense. notice that the two elements madara has shown are fire and lightning.(NOT including wood release-which he obtained from hashiramas cells, and by extension water and earth.) Same with sasuke.
