Got bored, wrote this in about 10 minutes. I hope you give it a read!
This world, it's been dark, and no longer whole,
Half of its people seem to be missing a soul.
Lord, I ask You to give it a pleasant ending,
The path has been so crooked, and so ever bending.
I've learned to not expect from them, what I expect from myself.
I've treated them like vermin, all lined on a shelf.
But I realize, that kind of thinking is not right,
Your Words have been unheard, so far from my sight.
So now I will humble myself, for the greater good.
To You, I hope my late action can be understood.
It's time to have faith, in this thing we call Mankind,
And all of its problems, if only we could rewind.
