They broken him. He tried so hard but in the end it doesn't even matter. He had to fall to lose it all but his wife will appreciate his effort to make dishes. The people around him treated him as a robot or something along those lines. Always expecting something better than the recent dish he made. He reached his peek so these ''friends'' pushed him way too far.

It sucks to see that...that people make you a robot, and have huge expectations when they don't know how hard it is to meat them, and the amount of work that is needed, it's easy to just say "he's a genius, he can do it"
I can understand why he would do that, just leave everything behind, and find the love of cooking again, without expectations
