I like that Hayama vs Souma will be a brawl ! Pure offense !
What I am worried about is what Kuga said, I don't know if all of the rebels will make it
Specially Megumi and Takumi after seeing who they up against
Can't wait for the next chapter

It has been a while since I was this hyped about a chapter.

Kuga just said what I was thinking all along; it's simply messed up to think that all of rebels would be able to win their match against an E10.

This chapter also explains something I had been wondering about. There are more than 10 rebels, so how where they going to solve that? Apparently by having two vs one matches, how would that work in practice? Simply having both of them working together on the same meal or is there going to be a twist?

I doubt it. If that happens, if they end up losing, one of them will blame the other so I think each E10 will face each person. I believe each fight would take an hour and 30 minutes each including testing and giving a score.

In the case of Aldine and Megumi, neither of the two are the type of persons to blame the other in the case they would lose. Though I suppose it makes more sense that Rindou faces them one at a time.

I think that both cooking a meal would actually benefit the E10 and destroy the rebels from inside, if they blame eachother that would be their downfall
But I think they will take turns and have 1 on 1 challenges

She would blame herself for dragging aldine with her (even if she doesn't make any mistakes), that's her character.

I'm interested in what Rindou will prepare for this competition, I can't wait for the next chapter foreal.

Who do you think will lose in this arc, caliburn? I highly highly doubt that every member from Polar Star Dormitory will defeat the E10. I can only see souma beating hayama but that's going to be super high difficulty for him.

Yup but I highly doubt that the author would go that way, seems a lil bit cliche imo. I want megumi and the others to stand out by themselves without the help of someone else. I want to see her the most. I want her to shine.

Yeah, Megumi needs a moment like that
But even so, I don't know how she could pull it off, we are talking about Rindou here, she is not quite a walk in the park, maybe only if she finds it fun to keep Megumi and Takumi around...but to see her slack off in a shokugeki is hard to believe
As for the Polar star...I would like to see what Ibusaki can do, I like his style
Also I wonder if now Isami can finally catch up to his brother

The original Megumi would blame herself. Confident Megumi 2.0 not however. She's probably the character that underwent the most development since the start of the series. And let us not forget that Megumi is no stranger to this situation. She once had a tag team Shokugeki together with Soma against a 1st Seat graduate with the risk of expulsion.

And I don't know what to expect. The chances that all of them win are nearly zero, to be honest it would be a small miracle if even a single person could win. On the other hand having all the interesting characters removed from the school is likewise implausible. So I reckon there will be some kind of a 'safety net' in the story.
