Personality: Shogo is usually quiet and keeps to himself. When he is around others he is usually thinking about how the people around him are going to move or say so he can react quicker. He is short to trust anyone and Has a hard time being social. He has a strict moral code and has a longing to upkeep justice wherever he goes.

History: Shogo was the son of a traveling merchant that would travel between the hidden leaf village and the sand village. His father’s business of selling medical supplies was doing very well and soon his father was going to buy them a home in the sand village and Shōgo would finally be able to go to school like the other children his age. The last trip before they could move was a trade deal to the stone village. Shogo and his father packed up their merchandise and started on their way through the desert towards the village. The trip was going to last three days, the both of them were getting very bored by the second day and decided to take a detour to a nearby spring to get out of the desert sun. As they were following the road to the spring they came to a valley pass that opened up to the spring. They were unsure of the pass but had ultimately decided to go through. They were mid-way through when they heard voices up ahead. It sounded like yelling and then a scream rang out from the spring. Everything went silent for a moment, Shogo’s father looked to him and turned him around to try and go back the way they came. They stopped when a shadowy figure was standing at the entrance to the pass. “where do you two think your heading off to?” The man smiled and pulled out a kunai from his waist pocket and pointed it in their direction. Shogo’s father had a panicked expression on his face. “We don’t want any trouble, please just let us go.” The man stopped in front of the two frightened travelers. “What do you have in the bags? Let me see.” The man reached for Shogo’s bag, at that moment Shogo’s father grabbed the man’s hand and pulled him into a hold. “Run son I will hold him off!” Shogo was pushed toward the entrance and looked back to see his father struggling to keep a hold on their attacker. Shogo then turned and ran out of the pass and back into the heated desert. He looked for the possible chance of a caravan traveling by that could help him. Sadly, this was in vain, there was no sign of life in any direction. There was only sand for miles in all directions. Shogo had lost the way to the road in his attempt to escape the spring. He was running over sand dunes and eventually was lost in the wasteland. For three weeks he traveled looking for some form of life, but he never found anyone. A month would go by of Shogo struggling to survive in the desert feeding on lizards and other rodents he could catch and thriving on the miniscule amounts of water he would stubble across. Then one day as he breached the edge of giving up, he finally saw the outline of a small town in the distance. Finally, he found help. He dragged himself into the town and had barely gotten to the gates when he collapsed from exhaustion. He was brought to the medical building of the small town and rested for three days before he fully awoken. He had been severely dehydrated and was malnourished. The medical ninja had asked him what he was doing in the desert and after he told him of the attack they had told him of the recent string of robberies in the area and was saddened to tell him that his father was most likely killed trying to protect him. Shogo didn’t want to believe this, he tried to leave to find his father but the medical ninja wouldn’t let him leave. He wouldn’t get the chance to look for his dad for a long time. After a few more weeks recovering Shogo was sent with a band of ninja headed to the sand village where at his return he was greeted by his grandparents who happily brought him in to live with them. He was later enrolled into the ninja academy with the other children his age and seemed to excel in his studies and skills. He was exceptional in his ability to rapidly throw kunai in succession and became known to be the fastest of all the children in the village at throwing blades. His only goal was to get strong enough to go back into the desert and with hope find his father alive. This dream was what drives him to the current day. Now Shogo is 22 and has made countless endeavors into the desert to find his father but has had no success. He has decided to leave the sand village in the meantime to devote his time to the locating of his father.
