Shizuma Hoshigaki will fuse with the Samehada blade

In the preview we see him choosing the Samehada look a like blade (it could also be Samehada itself).

The living blade Samehada was Kisame's companion... A fellow Hoshigaki clan member.

The Hoshigaki are known for their gill like features (likely can breath in water.)

Samehada the living blade has two traits

Fusing with its user (or maybe this is exclusive to then Hoshigaki) and favouring people with large chakra pools to be its user.

Two things we can speculate from this....

Shizume will fuse with Samehada akin to Kisame but be weaker then the Kisame form (due to being a inexperienced Chunin).

Samehada will neglect Shizume due to seeing him unworthy or due to some other chakra phenomenon akin to Killer Bee and Kisame.


Maybe Samehada can sense Boruto's eye and freaks out :Sparks:

I could see this...assuming Bee doesn’t still have Samehada. I get the feeling if the Mist has it, Suigetsu will have it soon.

He was trying to get it from Kisame after he acquired the Executioner Blade back in Naruto. Now he is hanging around the Mist watching things so he might end up with it.
