Shisui's MS

Any ideas how Shisui activated his MS?
Could it be if a loved one died for Shisui, then that person could be the one to know everything?

Kishi never explained how most of the Uchiha had awakened their Sharingan. This includes Shisui.

I doubt "The one who knows everything" is Shisui. There are so many other people that make sense. For instance, amongst the Uchiha, both Sasuke's father and Izuna would know a lot compared to others in the series. Its even likely that Danzo knew more than Shisui...too bad Sasuke forced him to seal himself away with a last ditch suicide attack.
