The man who knows the secret of itachi = Tobi = his closest friend = Shisui, now in a few weeks when everyone eles finds this information out the story should unfold in even more of an epic way.

well both of shisuis eyes are destroyed and i doubt he is tobi is shisui most likely tobi is a clone zetsu of madara. if there is a clone zetsu of the 1st hokage why wouldnt there be a madara. also itachi killed shisui thats how he got his MS shisui isnt not behind the mask

Tobi isn't shisui, im pretty sure its obito, otherwise why would he have gave itachi his eye, knowing how useful it was, also when tobi is alone thinking to himself, he is insepcting danzo's body and says danzo destroyed shisui's eye before his death, and also Itachi gained MS by killing Shisui so if shisui is alive itachi wouldn't have achieved MS, and He says he agrees with itachi's view which is why he gave itachi his eye, tobi and itachi habe completely different views.

Tbf, he could of got new sharingan eyes, have you not seen the dozens of jars of sharingan eyes that tobi has.

I think its Obito, mainly because i want it to be obito i think, but there are a lot of coincedences, also tobi's abilities are similar to Kakashi's, maybe thats obito's true potential, seeing as he is an uchiha he can maximize it and surpass kakashi in that area.:lili:

thats true there warping power seems the same but. when tobi/madara attack the leaf with the kyuubi. obito just died cuz it shows kakashi with his sharingan.
and when obito was crushed his entire right side was destroyed and give his left sharingan to kakashi. cuz his right sharingan and the rest of his body on the right side was crushed under the rock. and if it were obito that attack the leaf 16 yrs ago how was he strong enough to control the fox and he knew when the seal was at it most weakest for someone who grew up in kakashis class were could he have gotten all that info. and the man behind the mask did his warping abilites with three ring and also control the fox with a three ring kakashi uses the MS form to do warping. it cant be obito it doesnt add up. also rin and kakashi and the 4th confirmed he was dead we seen the rocks cave in on him. and if it were obito i dont get why he would do all this to the leaf it not like the betrayed him they tried to save him. it just doesnt add up

It shows kakashi at like 17 before the attack on konoha, and with the mask on you didn't know how old tobi could be, Also In three years Sasuke learned to supress the ninetails within naruto, and sasuke isn't exactly the best uchiha in the world is he, also Obito could have been given information about the ninetails, and just because we see the cave in doesn't mean he died, and we see tobi lose his Right arm and grow another one with something that looks like zetsu cells, so he could have been healed by zetsu, which is how he survived, and as for his motive's, i have no idea, but i just think it would be pretty terrible if he turned out to be madara

This is why I dont believe Shisui=Tobi:

1. Shisui died before the Uchiha Massacre took place.

is where the Konaha police expresses their belief that Shisui committed suicide by drowning in the Nakano river on the night both Itachi and Shisui were absent from the

. Now I have to concede that the police does not directly say that Shisui's body was found. But... nor do they say his body wasn't found either. Plus they never said that Shisui was missing either. They specifically said that he drowned. They even knew where he drowned. Thats some very specific information there. How did the police even know that Shisui drowned if there was no body? The only other piece of evidence was

and that made no mention of how Shisui died. The only way that the police could have known that Shisui drowned in the Nakano River is if they found his corps in that river.

2. Itachi helped him die. During the same incident, Fugaku asked Itachi why he didn't attend the meeting the night Shisui died. And he replied

We all know that:

• the Mangekyou Sharingan was the height of Itachi's capacity
• he was most probably the

• We also know that you need to kill your best friend to activate MS.

4. Itachi would definitely have been able to recognize Shisui bihind that mask.

• Itachi and Shisui were so close that even other people knew that Itachi considered him a brother.
• Also, Itachi is one of the greatest wielders of the Sharingan.
• He's also one of the smartest characters

Then why did Itachi not notice that Tobi=Shisui? Because Tobi<>Shisui.

5. Shisui died for the sake of the villiage. Itachi, the last person to have seen Shisui,

7. He had no motive. He loved his village. In fact he entrusted Itachi with his last eye with the purpose of using it to protect Konoha.

All of this proves that: Firstly, Shisui is definitely dead. And secondly, even if he weren't dead(hypothetically speaking), then there's still no chance that Shisui could be Tobi.

For a character to never have there body found & have the most powerful eyes (Next to Nagato's ) to have just died so easy = Makes no sense....

Just the fact that Kishi is letting people know that Ao remembers Shisui's chakra like it was yesterday should hint to you that once he comes across tobi for the first time he will realize that tobi is Shisui-San.

You will see that there is a bigger picture to the story than just tobi being Shisui, and to answer the other guys question the one who formed akatsuki = Uchiha Madara

I've read alot of discussions where people say that Obito or Shisui are "Tobi". Some of the theories are very convincing but there are also contradicting theories that are convincing. This is why I think that it could and could not be Shisui or Obito.
Shisui has curly unkept looking hair. Tobi does not. And I know you might be thinking that he could have changed his hair style but think back to all the impersonators in Naruto. Have any of them changed how they look? If so please tell me, no lie. This is just a theory and I don't want my facts messed up. Anyways, my point is that most likely, Shisui didn't change his appearence. But, Shisui was said to be able to have erased his existence completely just like Tobi can.
Obito has hair that looks exactly like Tobi's. Short spiky blue/black hair, I believe. But, he was seen to be crushed under rocks. Now, some people say that he could have been rescued by zetsu or whomever but I say that even so, he has no reason to want to take over the world.
