When we first heard of shisui he was just a name told in passing. It soon became clear that itatchi had him killed, presumably to awaken his M sharingan. Even once we learned itatchi wasn’t as evil as we had been lead to believe this seemed to be the only way it happened. Then things got more confusing. Somehow danzo had gotten his hands on shisuis eye and madara really wanted it back. this was about when I heard the tobi is shisui theory. (this is not a tobi is shisui thread) NOW we know that itatchi didn’t kill shisui but that he gave his eye willingly and left. Not only that but his eye tec was MUCH stronger than we thought. So where did he go? Why exactly did he go? How did danzo get that eye if he wasn’t dead? It seems clear that shisui, once a dead character mentioned in passing is much more important than we first thought. So what do you think? Is shisui still important? Is he even dead? Regardless I will be taking tobi is shisui theories more seriously in the future.

itachi said the last tym he saw shisui one of the eyes were already taken by danzo(he had lots of men remember-shisui must have been ambushed but escaped).then shisui gave itachi the one he had left. he was left with no eyes and told itachi 2 help him die.
danzo took an eye of shisui idk how but it would have been a hard battle for danzo then the other eye he gave it to itachi to protect konoha then he died silently which made itachi to awaken his MS thats all people xd
but why would he give danzo his eyes? danzo doesnt seem like the kind of guy you just GIVE a super powerful mindcontrol eye. not to mention that danzo was presumably the NO1 ninja who wanted all the uchihas killed...that would be like einstien giving hitler a recipe for the A-bomb.
i'm starting to think you're right. after rereading it it seems clear that itatchi DID know for a fact that he was dead (awakaning his MS) now i just wonder what roll the crow and the newly resurected and free itatchi will have in all this.

i doubt he took it by force, i would think he meant danzo just took his one before his meeting with itachi.
