what i dont understand is why everybody is making such a big deal about the abbility of Shisui Uchiahs eyes!
Think aoubt the fight between Sasuke and Itachi:
Manga Chapter 384
werent they doing the exact same thing at the beginning of the fight??
Putting each other into illusoins, for me it does even look like izanagi...

Shisui's eyes have a lot of power in them
They are able to control the thought proccess of people which can affect their thinking and decisions.
His eyes were really powerful tools

the thing is shisui's eye's could completly hipnotyze and control a person WITHOUT the person even understanding it was beeing controlled.. that's a valuable skill, even in naruto world

I have a hard time believing that somebody praised as one of the most gifted Sharingan users (Shisui) against prodigy amoung the naturaly battle elite Uchihas (Itachi) had a fight completly in the dark, silent, unknown to anybody, and the one left standing as the winner seemed completly unharmed the next day. I believe there is more to Shisui's story that we haven't been told (not a conspiricy or anything just some details that were left out). Either that or Shisui was hyped up a lot and was actually a punk, which I doubt.

That's what I think also. Either Itachi told him that he was a "Spy" and Shisui understood where he was coming from, or Itachi/shisui had a "Silent epic battle" ending in shisui death, or shisui is hyped up more than Bleach characters.

i only hear about his hynosis powers not anything else. so im coomfertable with itachi assassinating him while he doesnt notice. uchihas dnt walk all day or sleep with sharingans activated.

And as some people are saying it doesn't really make much sense how Itachi killed Shisui if he was so powerful as people said....Maybe Itachi had like inside info plus he was Shisui's friend so....he would probably know some way to do it maybe? But still, who knows. I'd like to know more about Shisui overall though....
