Hm...Shisui defeats Danzo during their battle, and unveils Danzo's Sharingarm to Hiruzen. Shisui tells Hiruzen that this is unacceptable, and basically says that he'll no longer stop the Uchiha Clan; if anything, he'll help it. Hiruzen takes the only route he can, (with Danzo's acceptance), and executes Danzo. *Legit execution, as in no Izanagi.

However, the Uchiha clan must still be dealt with. Impressed with Shisui's skill, Hiruzen appoints Shisui as the Godaime Hokage, which helps to quell the Uchiha Clan's anger.

But...there's a major catch that no one knew of. Danzo really was vital to the village, more than anyone knew. While ROOT is merged into the ANBU (As the Hokage's special protection group, led by Itachi) they no longer go on the really horrible missions. Which means the shadows of the ninja world are left unchecked...

And are taken over by...hm...maybe someone from Kumogakure? Iwagakure? Give some suggestions.

Anyway, the other villages begin collecting information on Konoha, and no one knows about it. Iwagakure captures Naruto, in an attempt to force the son of the Yellow Flash to fight for them, but he is lost somewhere in Iron Country. Kumogakure successfully captures a Main Branch Hyuuga in the field. Akatsuki is mobilising faster than anyone could have expected. War is coming to the Elemental Nations, while Shisui begins to lead Konoha to a new era.
