Shishui and Itachi

This is not another wank thread but just something off premonition.
So to get back on topic, we all know that Shishui's eyes is said to be the most powerful genjutsu (besides IT) in the whole series with virtually know way to counter it.

Itachi and Shishui were both very powerful and wise, but does anyone still think that Itachi is still stronger than him if they were at the same age? I know I do.
I don't think they ever compared each other in terms of power in the manga.
Itachi just have this vibe that he's stronger than Shishui but it may not be the case. And if they all went out to show their complete susanoo's it would've been a different level of respect.

This might be incorrect, though, because Shisui's "KA" case is still yet to be 100% revealed with all the details.

I'd say.. Genjutsu-wise Shisui would beat Itachi, but overall power/ninjutsu-wise Itachi wins.

I would say they are about equal once they both have ms giving itachi the slightest edge only because ka needs to recharge. Ama could be a game changer too.

Susano'o, great shunshin speed, gokakyuu no jutsu, 3T genjutsu and KA is more than enough feats to judge his power. I bet that his Fire, bukijutsu and taijutsu ( the only things we've yet to be shown about him for 100% ) mastery is around/below Itachi's level, because they were stated to be rivals.

Well one can't put a genjutsu on another person faster than the other if they cast it at the same time. Once activated, the ocular genjutsu puts you in an illusion at an instant. However Itachi's Tsukyomi isn't going to do anything to a Uchiha with MS. Only those with a sharingan and kekkai genkai can beat his genjutsu.
As for Shishui we know that he doesn't need eye contact like the rest and there is not limitations on to whom he can cast the genjutsu on, however I'm not sure we can use the anime at this point because sometimes it doesn't hold canon material.

I think they both are about equals......we don't have much data to go on about Shisui but he was acknowledged as one of the finest....his genjutsu is really scary and he was a master of shunshin combine that with the fact that he had the basic MS abilities truly make him a formidable foe. Now this is all we have about Shisui....On Itachi we have got all the info from Totsuka, Susano, Yata, Amaterasu and what not...now if these were to clash I think it would be battle of who will land the first blow rather a bit like it was between Minato and Obito...the first one to land a hit wins.....tell me if Itachi is ill or not then i can form a complete battle scenario and give you a result. Honestly it could go either way

Because Kishi didn't make Shisui play bigger role in the manga. ( didn't care about him, simple as that ) That's why he is obviously shown mostly only in fillers. Still doesn't mean he is featless. We can pretty much think his power level out on our own, can't we? After all, don't you agree that the guy who has the second most powerful genjutsu in the world ( after IT ) can only throw some shurikens and pack a punch on genins would be beyond silly?

It's a healthy Itachi. But yeah, whoever lands first is very crucial.

I really do think that in a Shisui vs Itachi fight everything would come down to speed, genjutsu and intelligence. Whoever lands the hit with Tsukuyomi or Kotoamatsukami respectively basically wins the match. Big techniques are irrelevant here, could be used as finishers, though.

I don't know if Godtachi could beat Shisui just based off what happen to his edo once he came in contact with Naruto after giving him KA in the crow. Almost immediately he was hit with KA once his MS activated. That to me showed that the hype for Koto amatsukami was the real deal ultimate genjutsu beside the masterful tsukuyomi & IT.

Godtachi is my man but i go off off logical situations not wank him because he's my fav. This bout goes to Shisui.
