Considering he developed the technique, only he knows it's full capabilities. That being said, if he created the Seven Heavenly Breaths, he has performed its full capabilities, meaning he activated all seven, which means he has survived it, which means you don't die after activating them all.

I personally think he can beat Kimmimaro. He's got some serious tai capabilities, and frankly, I think he can handle steel strength bones
