Shippuden 345 will be censored

Meh, I had a feeling they would censor it so it isn't big news for me (Come on, it is one of the most blood friendly chapters in naruto so it was pretty much guaranteed to be censorred in the anime). TBH, it won't matter for me as long as the animation is nice enough to compensate for the censorship. Since it's pretty much confirmed that the guy that did 322 is also doing this one, I'm pretty sure the animation will be very good (if not excelent).

Let's not judge the episode yet as we have not seen it.

On a side note: I've just checked wikipedia (questionable source but still, it's quite accurate), the current box set is volume 5 of "The Fourth Great Ninja War - Assailants From Afar" which contains episodes 312 through 315. March 2014 has the first volume of the sasuke and itachi portion and it will contain 321 through 324. Considering they get a new box set every month (Seems like it), we will probably get 345 in 2015 or so.

They have censored a lot of chapters.. i remember shikamaru vs hidan, when he was supposed to blow up the traps with a cigarette and made it with asuma's lighter instead

The lighter was so much cooler in my opinion.

Anyways, I don't mind it. Atleast it'll be on DVD.

It makes sense for them to hVe "two" versions ,

It's s shonen manga which straight away doesn't make it the most violent and it's a very popular one , which means they will try to squeeze ll revenue from tv also , no parent is letting their 8-10 yr old stay up to 10+ to see ppl getting gored with tree branches

Heh, it turned out quite well in the end. There was definitely some censorship but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There was less blood than in the manga (obviously) but it was still present.

the manga chapter has more blood than nearly other anime, entirely. they almost had to censor it.

idk if my version was diff. which i doubt. cuz dvd version aint out. but that was the most bloody ep ive ever seen. was pretty damn good episode.
